Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Iowa
my spouse under went cancer treatment for 3 yrs. The hosipital only has her social security number and signature. I (husband) did not sign for anything. She had insurance. My question is: am I responsible for her outstanding medical bills? She pasted away last saturday.

It doesn't matter whether you didn't sign anything. Her estate is on the hook for anything that is not paid by the insurance, and you can expect they'll come after you if there's a balance due and owing.
