Legal Question in Military Law in Iowa
Im enlisted in the army im not in the IRR but i got convicted of a class d felony in iowa and this is the only time ive been in trouble besides a speeding ticket can i still be in the army? can i go active duty

What you need is a waiver from the military recruiter and you need to ask them for it. The worst thing you can do is to not disclose your record right from jump street. They aren't necessarily against people with records but they are most definitely against people who don't tell the truth.
And they check it too. I met a person who works for the DoD checking dockets in courthouses all over Iowa.
