Re: assault causing bodily injury

Is this a personal injury case or is it a criminal law case? If it is a criminal law case, the penalty is set by sentencing guidelines. If this is a personal injury matter, are you represented by an attorney?

Re: assault causing bodily injury

Without knowing more it is impossible to know how much someone would ask for in damages. How much were the medical bills; was there medical insurance; how much was covered by the ins; is there subrogation; how much was not covered; how much is still owed; did the victim's parents pay and if so how much; how did the fx bone affect the child; did they miss school or other activities; does the child need further medical attention; if so what is the cost; what were the circumstances surrounding the assault; does the child have nightmares; how severe; how has the assault affected the child psychologically; and there are many more questions to ask and answer. In the abstract your question can not be answered.
