Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa

I bought a used 97 Blazer with 118,000 miles 01/07/10 and two days ago (only 1500 miles driven since it was bought) it overheated and blew out the cylinder heads. About a week after I bought it the coolant started leaking and a clicking noise came from the right side of the engine every once and a while. I put some stop leak in the coolant tank and the leak stopped along with the noise. Then a week ago the nose returned but there was no leak. The repair shop said that water was leaking into the motor mixing with the gas. Am I at fault for this or is there any legal action that can be taken?

If you bought the vehicle at a dealer and it was not sold in "as is" condition you may be able to get somewhere with a warranty claim but if you bought it as is or from a private party you're on your own.
