Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa

I was in a car accident and one of the passengers was hurt and i had no car insurance. now my license is being suspended and they want me pay 33000 dollars. she was the only one hurt cause she didnt have seat melt on. I dont feel i should have to pay all her medical and lose my license.

You may not feel like you have to pay or lose your license but you're on the hook because of the choice you made to drive without car insurance. At that moment you took responsibility and you have to take your victim as you find them. You might want to think about bankruptcy.
