Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa

Im trying to collect on a judgement the defendant defaulted as well... But i have no way of finding out where he wprks to collect garnishments.. Hes moving so could i collect on the house even if hes not the owner? What can i do next? Move the case to District court?

How would you be able to collect on a house if he is not the owner? I would suggest you hire a private investigator to see if this person can be located and garnished. There is also a procedure for a debtor examination. It is rarely used but maybe you can find some use in the procedure. Iowa code chapter 630 governs the procedure.
