Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa
around march 21,2012 me and my cousin took my boyfriends car to the dmv to get my i.d. / permit she didn't have her licence at the time of the crash because she had lost it so on the police report it said she didn't have a licence. At the time everything was going fine as she was driving but as she was driving a car in front of us stopped to make a turn so my cousin started slowing down and kind of made a sudden stop and the car behind us i guess ((even though it looked like they had enough time)) didnt have enough time to slow down and stop ended up crashing into us and we obviously crashed into the car in front of us.
Now the insurance company says we we're at fault for stopping suddenly without a warning. Is there anything we can do about this? can we fight it?

Yes you can fight it. Knowing you are unrepresented the insurance adjuster is likely to take such a position to intimidate you. Frankly, you need representation. Go find an attorney.
