Re: personal injury

I'm assuming your claim is in Iowa. How long you have depends on how old you are but normally for an adult above the age of majority, 18, personal injury caused by a defect in property is two years. I might add having photographs of the condition that was defective is always helfupl. Having measurements is as well. If ice then having a photograph of the icy condition, the man-made conditioin that caused it or other areas where the public way is not being maintained and photographs with a tape measure in plain view showing the linear measurements helps as well. Being able to prove these conditions months after the fall can be a challenge.
