Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa
I had a rollover accident that injured my friend. My husband and I are divorcing and I didn't know he cancelled the auto insurance. Now I have a suspended license and I can't get it back or register my new car until a judgement is paid. Is there anything that can be done?

If you're named as a defendant in the judgment, you're stuck with the results. I suggest you hire an attorney to review your case. You might have a shot at your ex if the dissolution is not final yet.
I don't necessarily agree with Attorney Luedman. You could file bankruptcy or have the divorce decree reviewed for a clause requiring your husband to either carry the insurance, pay the insurance or indemnify you. You could also write to the Iowa DOT or hire a lawyer to present your case to the Iowa DOT. They may reinstate your license if you can prove what you say.
