Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa

i slipped on a wallmart sack in front of thier store, i hurt my hand, scraped my knees, & damaged my new purse, went to hospital to have xrays of my hand as it was swelling immediately, nothing was broke, wallmart has denied the claim to pay for hosp, medicine, & new purse, are they liable or not
