Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa

My wife stepped on a dirty needle at the hospital. we are now required to go back to the hospital 4 times in the next 6 months to make sure she was not infected with a disease. Could we sue the hospital for negligence?

Yes, she could sue, although unless she contracts a disease the damages will be limited to the inconvenience, actual wage loss and emotional distress.
