Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

We bought our home on contract and are selling it but found out there are liens on the property and can't sell now but we will be evicted and could possibly have to walk away from the property what happens to the liens if we get kicked out or walk away

More information would be needed: Are these mechanics liens, judgments against you, against the contract seller, mortgages? In any event, you always should have a real estate attorney representing you whenever you buy or sell real estate, and this is a perfect example of why. Hire one before you make any decisions.
