Broken Lease

I'm leasing a restaurant, and want to know if the lease is null and void if the landlord didn't have the restaurant ready to be occupied by the 1st day of lease (meaning the equipment was suppose to all be in working condition, and they worked on them the first week of the lease, and delayed my opening)

My opinion would be that you waived that breach if you went ahead and moved in and occupied
