Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa
An Iowa judge ruled in my favor regarding a property case where my sister took possession of our family home we both own, and refused to either pay rent or sell her interest to me. The rule in my favor was in September-2009. We had the appraisal done and I decided to buy out her interest. PROBLEM: Because my lawyer takes weeks to return my calls or respond to my emails, this case has been going on for nearly three years. The case could have been completed within six months if he wasn't moving so slow. What can I do to close out this rather simple case?
