Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

can i get out of a lease

I have moved out of state with a new job. I had to sign my lease 6 months before it was up. I signed the lease and now I have moved out of state. Is there any way to get out of this lease?? Can I stop paying power, water and rent??

yes make a deal with the landlord.

You know what your liability is. Agree to pay the rent until he finds a new tenant.

email me if you have any questions.
