Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa
???????????????????? Im am not married and i was with a women and we split up,Last year in May I bought a house and her name is on it ,Now she is trying to get me to buy her name off the deed,she has never made a payment on the house and i have proof of that. what can i do if anythng?

Buy her out at a reasonable price. You're stuck with that. Hire an attorney to make it official.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you put her in title, you gave her an undivided half interest in the property, in other words, she owns half of the equity. You will need to work it out with her. Good advice to hire an attorney--if you do it wrong, you might be stuck buying her out again.
