missing abstract
we bought a house 6 years ago and neglected to pick up our abstract. Now we are planning to sell and don't know were it is. How do we find it?

It can be a bit of a treasure hunt, with firms merging and closing, and attorneys changing firms and retiring. It might be with your lender, or the closing agent, or whoever did the title opinion for your lender.
