Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa
Paperwork not signed by husband, but by someone else
I need to know what I can do about this,my husband did not sign the paperwork for a loan, that was done in Dec.2006. We wasn't working with a company at that time,we refinanced our house in Feb. 2007 not in Dec.2006.

I am not sure I understand exactly what happened. Someone forged your husband's signature on the loan documents? That is a bad thing for whoever was the forger. You signed the loan documents, but your husband did not? Also a bad thing, but bad for the lender, because that means your mortgage is possibly void. And I really do not understand what you mean by, "We wasn't working with a company at that time . . . ." You certainly need to consult with an attorney.
