If I am paying on a mortgage that is not in my name do I have any legal rights to this house even if there is a paper signed that I cannot get the house?

An attorney would need to review the "paper" you signed to give you an accurate and definitive answer, but I cannot see how you would have "legal rights" to the house if you signed a document saying you do not have legal rights to the house. If you are occupying the property, the payments you have made could be considered rent, but this certainly sounds like an unusual situation.
