Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

I purchsed two lots from a devloper in Noveber of 2003.

I built my house and moved in during Novemeber of 2003.

He is now telling me that my property is subject to a covenant.

I went to the county courthouse and found that the covenant hadbeen filed with the county in april of 2003.

Am I subject to this covenant?

Yes. You are charged with constructive notice of all that inheres to your property at the time you took title.
