Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa
WE put our home up for sale and had someone make and offer, this was contingent on removing a hot tub which was done. Our realtor tried to communicate as to what they wanted done with the deck where the hot tub was removed from. They buyer put down $1000 earnest money. A week prior to closing he back out of the purchase, what are our options?

It depends on what is included in the terms of your purchase agreement. If you have not already done so, you should hire a real estate attorney to represent you in this transaction.
