Can I be evicted from a house I am buying contract for deed for not paying taxes for the year before I actually signed the contract if that is not agreed upoun in writin? I have been served with papers stating pay taxes or move.

You should not be responsible for taxes which accrued prior to the date of your contract, unless you agreed in writing to do so. DO NOT IGNORE THE NOTICE SERVED UPON YOU! Contact an attorney immediately.
