I was falsely accused of having someone live with me. My landlord gave me a verbal 3 day notice. Is this legal?

If you a written lease, and that lease prohibits any additional occupants, then there may be some possibility. If you do not have a written lease, or if that lease does not restrict occupancy, the landlord is out of luck. If you do have a written lease which purports to restrict occupancy, I would suggest sending a certified letter, with return receipt to the landlord telling him or her that you are the only occupant.

In either case, make sure you attend any court hearings to present your side of the case. If you ignore it, even if you are right, you may be evicted.
