Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

Sellers didn't completely move out.

We purchased an acreage with two buildings. We had arranged for them to leave a tractor and a JD Gator until they could sell them in April. After the closing we found a note on the counter saying, ''see you in the spring. We will be back to get EVERYTHING outside and EVERYTHING in the buildings.'' The buildings were completely full of their belongings. I called them and was told they would send me a list of the items they would be back for and when they would come. We have not recieved one. Do I need to send them some type of official notice to force them to clear out the buildings?

Re: Sellers didn't completely move out.

Depends on the terms of your purchase agreement. This should be something with which the attorney who represented you at closing could assist. You did have an attorney represent, didn't you?
