Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Iowa

I sold my mobilhome 2 years he paid me with a cashiers check we had no bill of sale I signed the title over to him and a year later I get a letter from the treasures office that my taxes are late . So I get a hold of him and he said he had meet to do that and he would take care of it I told him if he couldn't find the title to give me a call and I would get another one. I never heard from him so thought it was taken care of I got a letter from the treasures office that I'm 2 years behind and it will go up for tax sale. I got another title. I've called him and left messages to call me and I've left notes on the door and he hasn't called me back. Can I legally kick him out and take the mobil home back?

No. You sold, he paid. On what basis could you deprive this fellow of his property for a mistake you made?

If the title is in your name you can now proceed to quitclaim it over and find a process server to locate him and notice him up.
