taking my name off my ex husband's home
I'm not sure how to have my name removed from his home. He refinanced his home to put my name on it. We are now divorced and both of us would like my name off the property.

There are two different things to worry about here. One is title to the real estate. I would suggest you contact a real estate attorney to prepare a deed from you (and your spouse if you are remarried) to your former husband. If the deed is not prepared correctly, it could be void.
Second, you must be on the mortgage when he refinanced the property, unless whoever did your closing did not know what they were doing. He would need to refinance again to remove your name from the the mortgage.
