Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Iowa

i am the founder of a non profit i was working with a philantropist group. the philatropist ask me to touch his privates. The non profit is for women of domestic abuse and most women who are subjects of domestic abuse were molested as children what legal recourse do I have?

Unfortunately, you probably have no legal recourse. I am assuming that you are both adults, that there is no employer/employee relationship, and that there was no physical assault or force used against you. Under these assumptions, simply asking you to do something, while wildly inappropriate, is not illegal. Your only recourse probably is either to no longer do business with this man, or make sure there are witnesses with you whenever you meet with him. Sad that this "philanthropist" who seems to have such a screw loose would choose to work with this particular organization. Seems like perhaps he chose this organization to further his peculiar "agenda."
