Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Iowa

sexual assualt by my boss

i work to jobs for the same man. i clean his house twice a month and work for him at his company the rest of the time. while cleaning for him im being sexually asualted and harressed. I did stop cleaning house for him and the nite of the last time he touched me i called and told my foreman at home and said i would not be in the next few days. i had a doctors note delievered to my foreman stating im on leave of absence. i also asked my forman not to say anything because i wasnt sure how to handle this. he took the note straight to my boss! no my situation has gotten worse. i havent worked since june 3, 03. did my foreman have the right to go to my boss whos the one that was doing this to me? and since my boss is old buddys with the chief of police ive had my house raided for drugs!! didnt have anything and my name is being sladdered? is this fair???

Retain an attorney and go down to the EEOC and file a complaint. Then, file a complaint with the local police department, and challenge any police action taken against you. If the charges are dismissed, then you'll also have at least some basis for conspiracy to violate your civil rights, as well as for retaliation and quid pro quo sexual harassment.
