Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Iowa

I work at a school where a employee likes to talk about everybody else and continues to spread rumors. This has been going on for several years and has become a unfriendly work enviorment for all the other co-workers. Management has been informed twice but the problems still exist. Our supervisor thinks we are the problem for complaining and calls some employees fat and lazy, he said another employee looks like a drunk. Please help.

This doesn't sound like sexual harassment to me. It does sound like a poor work environment, and a good place for workplace mediation.

What this will do is bring everyone together and in public air the issues. No hiding behind reports. If everyone is ill at ease, this could solve it.

In any event, written documentation is essential.
