Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
My 17 yr. Old was driving a car that was registered in both our name. I had 2 exact vehicles the same. She put the wrong tags on the car. She was driving alone. The officer wrote the ticket to me & not my daughter. They realize they made a mistake and want to drop the ticket in my name & reissue it inherent name because I plead not guilty. Can theydo that or should it be
dropped altogether?

The answer is yes. Somebody's guilty, you or your daughter. If it's not you, who else could it be?
