Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
How do I take care of a Bench Warrant
I got pulled over a little over a month ago and found out my license was suspended for not paying a ticket. O.K. I understand that. The officer told me to take care of it right away so I didn't need to appear in court. I was going to go and pay it and just kept procrastinating. Well yesterday in the mail I got a notice of a bench warrant. How do I take care of this as soon as possible? I wont go to jail for being an idiot will I? I want to pay the ticket. Do I also have to pay the amount they gave me for the bond too?

Call the county attorney's office first thing tomorrow and take care of it.
