Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
Compliance form employer refusal
If your former employer refuses to fill out a compliance form, what do you do? The vehicle in question was a pizza delivery car furnished by the employer. The compliance form was due to a wreck 2 years ago, and my license is on the line. If the compliance form is late for the due date can I operate on a completed copy until it gets entered into the system?

Re: Compliance form employer refusal
It sounds like you have a problem with the Iowa DOT. You do not specify what a compliance form is and I am unfqamiliar with that terminology. My guess would be that if you do need it and it has not been officially entered into the system you face potential liability if you are stopped, so operating on an unofficial copy is not an option. Best bet? Hand carry it through the system.
