Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa

Improper lane change

I was not familiar with the town I was in and it had just snowed. There was no signs that informed me that there was a lane that had just started next--name removed--me. I was going--name removed--make a right had turn not knowing I was in my left lane. Turn and hit the car that was passing me on my right. Even the drive will say that the road was not clear from snow, you could not tell that there was another lane and there was no signs stating this. I received a ticket should I fight my ticket or just pay the fine. The accident happen in Cascade Iowa.

Re: Improper lane change

Unless you're willing to pay an attorney by the hour, probably best to pay the fine.
