Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
Offenses by owner
My car was involved in an accident.
The only damage in the accident was
my car. When the police showed up at
the accident site there was no one
there and my vehicle was towed and
impounded. My vehicle is deemed
unfixable and is insured. I was
charged with offenses by owner. What
is law enforcements next step. What
should I do about insurance.

Re: Offenses by owner
Call your insurance agent and file a claim. You haven't told me what you as the onwer are charged with.
