Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
Parents that shouldn't drive
Is there any case law showing adult children getting drawn into a lawsuit when an elderly parent who shouldn't be driving is involved in an accident? Can you become legally responsible by not intervening? Thank you!

Re: Parents that shouldn't drive
Unless one is the guardian of such a person I do not see how one could be liable under such a set of facts. However, that is not going to stop anyone from filing a lawsuit.
