Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa

I have a revoked license in Iowa. Once it was suspended for an OWI an then I got some points added for driving on a suspended license on more than one occasion. Now I am barred as of April 2010 until April 2013 because I occurred to many Traffic points within the DOT. I want to move to Georgia or another state. Would I be able to obtain a regular drivers license there or a work permit there instead of trying to obtain one in Iowa?

It's difficult to say. Some of the states share information about motor vehicle violations. You might get in contact with an attorney who does this kind of work when you figure out your intended state but I suspect that if you apply for a license and you're honest about your suspended status that could put the kibosh on a license and land you in more trouble if you did not disclose your status.
