Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa

Im seventeen an was chaged a curfew ticket, i was at an abandoned parking lot an it was eleven fifty five when i was getting ready to leave because when i took drivers ed they taught us that curfew was twelve thirty, a police officer pulled in before i had even put the key in the ignition an sat there till tewlve on the dot an then she came up an asked what i was doing there i replyed that "im just sitting here, getting ready to leave" an she asked for my ID an ran my plates an licence (i have a graduated licence) an she said that my curfew is ten oclock an she was being very rude saying i had a pissy atitude an i was doing everything she told me too do i was saying yes mam no mam an she was practicaly yelling at me then another officer showed up an she started being nice? whats that about. An now im going to court for it is there anyway i can get out of it or at least try to? I have the pamphlet from drivers ed that states curfew is twelve thirty to five A.M. so thats what they taught me. I live in Knoxville, Iowa in Marion County any help will be very much help thank you.
