Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa

I have a Sr-22 requirement and i have had it almost for 2 years and i cant aford to keep it and i cant aford to lose my Dl. So i asked if i could possibly get it droped they said it is required for anyone who loses there Dl and they have to have it for two years. Well i know several people who have lost numerous times and didn even have to have it. i only got it till may 28, 2009 and i was wondering what i can do to possilbly get it droped so i dont lose my Dl?

It's between you and the IDOT whether they waive it or not. What happens to other folks is not relevant to you or your case. In any event you only have ten weeks to go.
