Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
Out of state OWI while on Drivers Probation with the Iowa DOT
I had one day left on drivers probation in the state of Iowa. While visiting the state of Washington I was pulled over for OWI. I was released from my drivers probation the next day and the case has been pending every since then. My attourney now thinks he can get it dropped to a reckless driving. Since the date of the incident happened one day prior to my being released from drivers probation I am wondering if the Iowa DOT would pull my license if I was convicted with this.

It's hard to say what would happen if they get wind of it. On the other hand, you can say that you've not been convicted of anything at the time your probation expired.
