Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa

ticket help?
I was driving down the highway and i came up on a cop at 65 mph when the speed limit is 55....yes i was speeding.....the cop was turning around about a quarter of a mile away ahead of me, but at the time i never thought about my speeding i just thought he was turning around....but anyway i turned into my town and was headed home, i got all the way home and out of the vehicle and was walking to my front door when the cop pulled up he had me get back into my truck and get my license and registration where he told me to stay put.....when he was done he gave me just a ticket for speeding but also said that i was unlawfully running from the police.....on the ticket he wrote the location that i recieved it as the place where he passed me on the highway.........but isnt there a law stating that if i have the keys out of the ignition and am on private property and that im out of the vehicle he cant cite me for anything, let alone make me get back in the vehicle???? and he didnt give me the ticket for the location i was in, it was for the location where he clocked me! can they do that???? im willin to take this to court!!! Do i have a case?

You have a case-just not a very good one. You admit you were speeding.

I would suggest you try and arrange to pay the speeding ticket and get the evading dropped if you can.
