Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa

I was given a ticket for improper lane usage. What happened was I was in my way to work work in the morning and there was a utility buisness truck putting up signs in the grass on the side of the road. I didnt know the truck was at a full stop because I didn't see any hazards lights, no flashing lights on top of the truck, and no cones were placed down to close off the side of the road they were putting them up. I just thought the truck was going slower then the speed limit because I was gaining on him so I looked behind me too see if there were any cars behind me to switch lanes, so I started switching lanes I turned back around and ended up rear ending the truck. should I plead guilty or not guilty to improper usage of lanes?

Go ahead and plead not guilty. You'll get your story before a magistrate and the officer may not show up.
