Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
During a traffic stop, with probable cause, is there anything the officer may not search in my car or on my person? Can I refuse to allow him to search my car?

The officer cannot search locked compartments. You can also refuse to permit a search, but you stand a good chance of having your car impounded.
