Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
If I am a valid driver, driving my own valid vehicle and get stopped for going a few miles over the speed limit and my passenger just so happens to have warrants that I knew nothing about; do they have the right to search me, my vehicle, and tell me they want to take me to the sherriff's office to have a female jailor search me??

Let's see. You got stopped for speeding and your passengers had warrants and thus were fugitives. That's probable cause right there. If you didn't get arrested count yourself lucky.
