Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
vehicle confiscation
The police took a vehicle from my house that was NOT mine, it was my friends and i was borrowing it. They wanted it for evidence to search for stolen items (my friend was a suspect in a theft), but there was not one illegal or stolen item in the vehicle, how do i get it back? and are they even allowed to do that?

Re: vehicle confiscation
It's not your car, it's your friends and he's the one who has to get it out of impound, not you.
