I am wanting to know when police can search my vehicle and when they cant. As well as how long can they hold me until a K-9 can get to my car?

Re: Vehicle searches
They can search your car when they have probable cause to do so. In addition anything in plain sight is fair game. They can bring the dog at any time if there's probable cause to detain you.
