Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
Wrong Name
I recently got a speeding ticket, but the cop put my maiden name on the ticket instead of my married name, even though i showed him my military I.D. and told him i was married, he also wrote down the make of the car as a 1907 instead of a 2007. My husband was wondering if i still have to pay the ticket?

Re: Wrong Name
The answer is maybe. If you want to plead not guilty they'll set a trial date and you'll have to show up and make your arguments at that time. Otherwise you'll have to pay the ticket.
