Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa
If someone asked you to be the executor of their estate and you said "no". And they still put you down as the executor of their estate do you have to still take this position or can you bow out?

You are not obligated to act as executor. You may be asked to sign a document that you decline to act.
