Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa

My brother and I inheirited a home against our will and would like to know what our obligations are due to someone being injured on said properly

If it's your house you're responsible for what happened on the property if someone was injured unless they were a trespasser or the accident was an act of god. If you didn't want the house there's no authority on earth that could make you take title to it.
