Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa

I am the executor of my dad's estate. We have had 3 claims but I do not approve of one of them. How do I protest a claim against my dad's estate and what are my time constraints? The probate has been open for 3 months and has one month remaining. Do I protest this claim immediately or after the 4 months open probate is complete?
