If the person has already died and he or she did not have a will, then their property would pass under the Iowa laws of intestate succession. Many attorneys licensed in Iowa would be able to assist you. If the person is still alive and would like to have a will prepared, likewise, most Iowa licensed attorneys would be able to assist in preparing the will.
